UberGlobal Geek Phaseout

What is happening?

Our 'UberGlobal Geek' brand is being removed for sale from the UberGlobal website. Geek was our 'building blocks' brand for technically savvy customers, and offered domain name registration, shared hosting, SSL certificates and Virtual Private Servers.

Since we have discontinued the sale of Virtual Private Severs, and the remaining Geek products are available under UberGlobal Business, we have decided to remove the UberGlobal Geek brand from our website for now.

We would like to thank all of our clients who helped out in the beta testing phase of UberGlobal Geek.

When will this be happening?

Friday 26th October

Do I need to do anything?

No, you will still be able to log in and use your service as you currently do.

What is happening to Geek VPSs?

While we previously planned to de-commission our Geek VPS fleet, we have decided to grandfather these products for now. We apologise for any confusion this may have caused. If we do decide to de-commission any of our products in the future, we will give you ample warning to allow you to migrate your data.

What if I would like to upgrade or change?

You will still be able to upgrade to services that are still offered within your account with UberGlobal Geek. For new services you will need to go to UberGlobal Business.
