Web made simple

UberGlobal’s mission is to create value for our customers through continuous innovation in the simplification of technology. We are Australia’s third largest cloud services provider by market share, delivering everything from personal websites to SMB web and ecommerce solutions to secure enterprise managed services for some of Australia’s largest companies and federal government departments.

We also provide IT services such as software-as-a-service, platform-as-a-service, infrastructure-as-a-service, domain registration, web and email hosting, ecommerce, instant messaging and collaboration, dedicated servers and bespoke managed enterprise systems.

UberGlobal aggregates the IT demands of our customers to leverage our scale and drive efficiency through innovation and automation, benefiting our entire client base. We host websites and secure information systems on thousands of servers located in purpose-built data centres here in Australia.

UberGlobal genesis

UberGlobal has grown from humble beginnings in the Canberra bedroom of founder Michael McGoogan. In 2002 he founded McGooHQ, the company that subsequently became UberGlobal. Michael was 14 years old at the time and operated as a sole trader reselling US based hosting while still attending high school.

By October 2005, McGooHQ had become AussieHQ, one of Australia's fastest growing web service providers, acquiring Jumba and Hosting Shop along the way.

Over subsequent years the company developed rapidly, attracting a growing corporate and government customer base.

It also continued to build on its strong group of talented and experienced staff, and was further enhanced by a new economy of scale and executive team.

UberGlobal today

UberGlobal is now Australia’s third largest cloud services provider by market share, delivering services to over 70,000 customers.

Continual growth from the success of our dependable, service driven solutions created the need to group our services under more defined customer environments. Our three divisions of Business, Enterprise and Wholesale have allowed the company to provide customised managed hosting services to all sectors of business and industry, large and small.

As it has been from the very beginning, the quality of our service and the interests of our clients are paramount.

Our focus remains the success of our customers, who benefit equally from having a managed service space for all their hosting related needs and from our ongoing commitment to embracing the very latest advances in online technology.

UberGlobal is proud to be part of Melbourne IT, Australia's largest cloud based technology service provider.
